Looks like Gomez, Cuddy, Young and (gulp) Punto are each having a great ST. (all RH or SH batters)
I saw where Gardy said that he would not be averse to having Kubel bat third. Why is Gardy stuck on having a lefty batting directly before or after Morneau?
Both Kubel & Morneau watch their BA/OBP/SLG drop against lefties. Why invite a LOOGY against two of the strongest parts of your lineup?

Great synopsis of the spring thus far. I've been a life long Twins fan I like that you put it all together for easy comparisons.

Of all these, my biggest hope is that Gomez can keep up on his pace. He has shown a lot more patience at the plate resulting in a much higher OBP which will translate to more SB and runs scored. Plus his added pop has been nice. If he can put everything together I'd love to see him in the top third of our order.

Marv,

Gardy is Gardy. He does some things that are beyond logic (like batting Redmond 3rd last season). That said, I'd rather see someone batting between Morneau and Kubel.

Diamond Cutter,

Thanks. I really think that Gomez will open some eyes this season...
