From assorted reports it looks like the deal is for 3 or 4 years with a mutual option at between $13 and $15 million Average Annual Value
Contract details were finalized:
4 years (2014-2017) at $12 million per
a $13M club option for the 5th (2018) with an $1M buyout that vests based on innings pitched the last 2 seasons.
