Latest on Roy Oswalt: 2 teams out of the picture

No positive developments of Roy Oswalt yet, but there are a couple of suitors that are out of the picture right now:

• Take the Seattle Mariners off the Roy Oswalt list; as Joh Heyman reports they have signed Kevin Millwood instead


• Danny Knobler of CBSsports.comindicated that the Detroit Tigers are interested in Roy Oswalt, but it is unlikely that they will sign him. Detroit News' Lynn Henning says that it is not easy for the Tigers to spend $8 million. Furthermore, half-an-hour ago Knobbler indicated that Oswalt did not want to go to Detroit. I would assume that the Tigers are out of the picture.
