Valencia will probably start in New Britain again, but might move up to Rochester. I can see an infield of Peterson 1B, Tolleson 2B, Plouffe SS, Valencia 3B there. Also, I think that Tolleson (primarily) and Hughes will challenge Tolbert for a position for the 25-man roster utility spot with the 2 who miss out down to Rochester.

Joel Guzman can fit right in there because in New Britain with the musical chair positions approach, he will get plenty of play time at 2B or 3B. He just way too good to pass.thrylos98https://www.blogger.com/profile/15729211884114784386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8790694040229595303.post-49041443881084741902008-12-02T02:13:00.000-05:002008-12-02T02:13:00.000-05:00Great job! I thought he was a good looking prospect with the Dodgers and although he never really reached his potential with the Rays, he's still young enough and has the power potential we're looking for at 3rd base. For the price, it might be worth it. The only problem is that he may not get enough playing time at the position he desires with Valencia & Hughes both having 3rd locked in AA/AAA.

We'll see though. Plenty of guys who could potentially help this ball club out.

Great job!Josh Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00895543504885337250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8790694040229595303.post-91057630698150413412008-11-27T08:00:00.000-05:002008-11-27T08:00:00.000-05:00Good job Thrylos.
